One day, she woke up and simply did not want to do it anymore. She wanted to have friends and play games as all the other kids did. She wanted to watch cartoons on Saturday morning. She wanted to be a normal girl with a normal childhood. So she asked her parents to take a break. The break which actually meant the end of her figure skating career. But after all of those years of hard work, she could not handle not doing any kind of sport… So her mum signed her up for a ballroom and Latin dancing – her love number two. And it happened to her again… Have you ever experienced something like this: you try so hard, you give up on your friends, on holidays with your family, all because you believe that it makes sense? You believe that you will finally win that one competition, beat that girl, dance better than her. But after winning, you want to win again, be better than someone else again… Until one day, you wake up and you do not feel the passion anymore.
And then, when she was 18, she met Kate, the person who changed her perspective towards dancing. Who showed her, that she does not have to compete, that she does not have to be the best on the floor. That she can simply enjoy the movement and be happy to be able to dance. She helped her find her passion again and believed in her enough to make a dance teacher out of her. Even though they are not in touch anymore, she still owes her one. 😊
So after being the dance teacher in Slovakia, her home country, for 5 years, she is here in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, ready to share her passion with you!
